Started in 1959 by Gerry (“Robie”) Robichaud, Robies Refrigeration started right here locally in Hyannis. “Robie” started Robies with the simple idea of serving customers in need of quality commercial refrigeration and air conditioning and heating repairs. Today, Robies has evolved into a major HVAC company with over 30 employees. Gerry has semi-retired with the company, but still enjoys contributing every day here at Robies.
Two of Gerry’s sons are involved in the business today: John, who has been with the family business for over 37 years and is the company’s president and general manager, and Jim, who is vice president and residential sales manager. Along with a great foundation of dedicated, talented employees, Robies has enjoyed a high demand for its services and HVAC installation expertise for 50 years. |
